Password Protect a Database

Your financial and property information is valuable. To support your security, you may want to protect your databases with passwords. You can also remove passwords from databases, using the Remove Password command.

NOTE: Please keep records of your passwords.

Instructions

1. In the File menu, select Password Protect.

2. The Password screen displays.

3. Enter the password that you want to use for this database.

4. Click OK.

5. In future, if you want to open this database, you must enter the password.
