Income is rent or other money paid by a Tenant for the use or occupation of a Property. You can set income up as Recurring Income payments, payments that reoccur on a regular basis.
To add a new Income item, go to the Properties or the Income screen.
Click on the Add
Income button

The Income Details screen displays.
Complete the Income Data by typing or selecting the information into each field.
If a data field is yellow, that data is required for the Income record. If a data field is white, that data is optional.
When all the data required/available is entered, click OK.
The Income data is saved. The Income is assigned to the selected Property and displays in the Income screen. It is also included in Reports.
To Edit an Income item, go to the Income
screen

Find and select the Recurring Income item in the Income list.
Click the Edit

RPM asks if you want to:
Edit one occurrence of the income
Edit the entire series of occurrences of the income
Cancel editing the income.
Select your option.
The Income Details screen displays.
Edit the details, then click OK. The changed Income data is saved.
Tenant - Select the Tenant who pays the Income.
Category - Select the Category of income.
Amount - Amount of the Income expected on this date.
Add Payment - Check this box to note that this is expected as a regular payment from this tenant. This will be used in calculating monies due.
Reference - Invoice number, check number, or other reference for the Income.
Starts - Date when the Income began to be paid.
Repeats - How often the Income repeats. Click the icon in this field to edit the repeat frequency.
Active - Check this box if the income is active, i.e., currently being received.
Notes - Enter any notes about the Income.
